Sales Representative Job Description
You will work with new and established customers in an assigned territory to meet their marketing objectives through a variety of advertising solutions. To be successful, you will be required to aggressively build a pipeline of new business, demonstrate solid presentation skills, and the ability to close the sale.Job responsibilities
- Calling and meeting the small business owners that are the heart of their community, and then working with these business leaders to design an advertising campaign that delivers direct results for their company
- Meet and exceed sales targets, make atleast 10 sales calls per day of which 2 calls are new business.
- Maintain complete status of all accounts - open accounts,new accounts, and progress of open orders.
- Investigate sales trends and customer base
- Develop new techniques to improve identification of new accounts.
Basic qualifications
- 4- year BA/BS degree required from an accredited institution.
- Ability to travel domestically as necessary, which may include overnight and/or weekend travel up to 25%.
- Requires a valid driver's license.
