Water cycle, watersheds, and scientific argumentation, rolled into a new planet adventure.

Drop it in where your water systems unit already lives—Mission HydroSci 2.0 meets Missouri Learning Standards for Middle School Science.

Crash Landing, Real Science

Your students become cadets, crash-landed on an unfamiliar planet with no idea how its water systems work. Their mission: gather what’s needed to repair the ship and survive. They collect data, form hypotheses, and build an argument for what’s actually happening — uncovering the water cycle, watersheds, groundwater, and atmospheric water along the way.

Learning the whole way through. It just doesn’t feel like it.

Water Science and Argumentation

Tested Like Medicine. Built Like a Game.

Most science games make a promise about what kids will learn. MHS is the only one in the country that’s actually proven it — held to the same evidence standard used to evaluate medical treatments, and cleared it without a single reservation. No other science learning game has done that. Not one.

We didn’t get there by accident. Teachers and students tested MHS with us first — real classrooms, not a lab — and we ran the same kind of standardized comparison researchers use to test anything else. The result? Students learned the water cycle, watersheds, and how to argue with evidence. Mission accomplished.

We’re recruiting classes to join the adventure.

Mission HydroSci isn’t something you pick up on your own — not yet. We build it alongside the teachers who actually use it. Partner with us and your students get the game, and you get training, support, progress reports on how your class is doing, and a $1,000 stipend for your time.

Status: In Production

The version you’d recognize from a few years ago is getting an upgrade — built to run in any browser, no special software, ready for a full classroom of Chromebooks.

MHS is the only science learning game in the country to meet What Works Clearinghouse standards without reservations.

Meet the Devs

This team can talk water cycle chemistry for an hour and game balance for another hour right after. Here’s the crew who’s bringing MHS into the future.
